In 1998 he developed the "Courage to Change" outpatient program for teens with substance abuse at Massillon Community Hospital. Since then he worked extensively with clients who have either, or both, emotional issues and substance abuse/addiction. Day is fluent in American Sign Language and has been providing counseling to Ohio's Deaf community since 1998. Day completed her doctoral studies in counseling psychology. She has been independently licensed, with the supervision endorsement since 2001. Her past experience include Directions for Youth, Riverside Methodist Hospital and Harding Hospital, prior to private practice. She works with individuals, families, and, in a group setting. She has experience with mood disorders, PTSD, anger management, alcoholism and other drug addictions. Currently, Michaele is a full time instructor in the undergraduate art therapy program at Capital University, Columbus, OH and she continues to provide art therapy and clinical counseling.ĭeb received her BA from Kent State University in 1977 and completed her Masters in 1982, from Case Western Reserve University. She is also certified by the American Psychotherapy Association as a Board Certified Professional Counselor (BCPC). Michaele's clinical experience includes her work with adults, adolescents and children through in-patient, out-patient and day treatment clinics, drug rehabilitation programs, medical and psychiatric hospitals, schools, jails, prisons and private practice. She is licensed as a Professional Clinical Counselor, (PCC-S), a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC-CS), a Board Certified Art Therapist . She received her BFA from Kent State University in 1979 and her MSEd from the University of Dayton in 2000. Michaele has provided art therapy and counseling in Columbus, OH, since 1982. In Addition, Steven has developed a specialty in supervision of counselors. He completed the LPCC program through Ashland Theological Seminary in 1997. in Clinical Pastoral Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary, Ashland, OH in 1988. Steven has been a clinical counselor for over 19 years, with special training in the areas of Pastoral Counseling, Gerontology Suicide Prevention Domestic Violence Child Sexual Abuse and Marital Counseling. ![]()
